Ontario Provincial Police are reminding drivers to be mindful during wet weather conditions after a vehicle drove off Highway 5 Saturday morning and went vertical.
Officers said at around 10:46 a.m., a 20-year-old Mississauga woman had driven off the street near Rock Chapel Road, which was slippery, during a left turn and rode up the guy wire that supports a hydro pole.
Burlington OPP, firefighters and paramedics attended the scene and safely removed the driver from the vehicle with no injuries.
OPP posted on X at 12:47 p.m. Thursday that no charges were laid and the vehicle was removed by a tow truck.
Collision into a pole results in minor damage and no injuries:

Police say a local utility company attended to assess the damage to the pole. Officers say the pole sustained minor damage.
