Country music star Mac Davis dies at 78

Legendary country music star and songwriter Mac Davis has died following heart surgery.
Davis first found fame writing the hits “A Little Less Conversation” and “In the Ghetto” for Elvis Presley.
He made his debut as a country music artist with his 1970 album Song Painter.
Two years later, he released his breakthrough album Baby, Don’t Get Hooked on Me.
News of his death came days after his family said he had become “critically ill” after undergoing heart surgery in Nashville.
He was 78.
