CHCH News is learning more about the victim of the shooting in Milton, where friends and clients are remembering 38-year-old Shakeel Ashraf, who was killed at his auto shop yesterday as a kind soul.

Halton police say at approximately 2:50 p.m. yesterday they received multiple reports of a shooting at an auto shop in Milton. When police arrived they found three victims with gunshot wounds.
Halton police haven’t released any other details from the two other victims, except that they are still in serious and critical condition. They haven’t released any names or identities yet.
Investigators say the suspect is dead but have not released his identity. During a province-wide alert yesterday, Peel police posted a picture and said they were looking for 30-year-old Shawn Petry.
Many community members and organizations are sharing their condolences including some of the mayors in the surrounding areas.
A lawyer at a firm near the shop started a GoFundMe page for the auto mechanic.
