Clark-Reese feud ignites off-court controversy between WNBA fans, media

In what was thought to be the next, great on-court basketball rivalry, has spiraled into a storm of controversial feuding between fans and media off the court.

The WNBA season kicked off last Saturday and the hot topic was a foul and reaction between Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese and Indiana’s Caitlin Clark.

The topic went from hot to nuclear, following a wide range public backlash, which includes former sport casting colleagues Robert Griffin the third and Ryan Clark.

The feud between the two former NFL players reached racial levels over the recent Clark-Reese incident, which adds another layer to plot after the WNBA says it’s looking into allegations of “hateful” abuse directed at Reese last Saturday.
