City of Burlington announces seasonal park amenity openings

Seasonal park amenities in Burlington are opening for the summer season, and just in time for the warmer weather.

Park washrooms are open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Oct. 16 (weather permitting). Orchard Park and Norton Park washrooms are only open during permitted times.

Mobi-mats for modular and wheelchair access have been installed at Beachway Park for the season.

Splash pads open May 15 and will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Drinking fountains and bottle filling stations are also being turned on and will be fully operational by May 15 or sooner, according to the City.
