City to debate pedestrian mobility plan

City council will be debating a pedestrian mobility plan this week.

This will include talks over safer intersection crossings, widening sidewalks, and building sidewalks on both sides of new streets.

There are also recommendations for more pedestrian furniture, like benches, and making crosswalk markings easier to see.

The master plan will be presented at Wednesday’s General Issues Committee meeting.
