The sequel to Will Ferrell’s wildly popular ‘Anchorman’ came out Wednesday night, nine years after the original which has been elevated to cult status among fans whether they work in TV news or not.

The plot of ‘Anchorman 2’ sees the legendary San Diego anchorman Ron Burgundy approached to be the main anchor of the first ever cable news channel ‘GNN’, which has a familiar ring to it. The movie has been a long time coming and Ferrell and his castmates, all of whom are back in their original roles, have been relentlessly marketing the sequel. And Wednesday night ‘Team CHCH’ was on hand to check it out. Our camerman Marc Cormier caught up with them after the 7:30pm showing to get their reviews.
