CHCH hosts digital media reception

We all know digital media is the way of the future, and tonight Hamilton is celebrating its best and brightest in the growing field.

Over 150 people are expected to take part in a digital media reception happening right now at CHCH studios. The evening will take a look at the many innovative companies that call Hamilton home – from game designers to animation companies. And even though Hamilton’s just a short drive from Toronto, tonight’s event also hopes to bring attention to what sets Hamilton apart in the digital media scene.
Innovation Factory’s Ron Neumann: “Hamilton has a long history of really embracing its arts community, so this gives it an opportunity to take it into the digital age and really develop that. People are recognizing Hamilton for its uniqueness in both the film background and the arts background, and now adding the technology aspect. So that’s why people are excited about what’s going on in Hamilton.”

Along with the eight local companies featured at the event, CHCH and our parent company Channel Zero will also be among tonight’s participants. Representatives from McMaster University, Mohawk College and the Art Gallery of Hamilton are taking part as well.
