Charges laid in Governors Road crash

The 44 year old Flamborough man involved in a deadly collision on Governor’s Road earlier this month, is being charged with careless driving.

The man is expected to appear in court on January 17th.

The accident happened on December 2nd at around 9:30 in the morning.

87 year old Kathleen MacLeod was trying to cross Governor’s Road near Overfield Street in Dundas, when she was hit by a car.

She later died of her injuries in hospital.
