OPP have now charged a Brampton man in the hit-and-run crash on the QEW in Beamsville that killed an 11-year-old boy.


Police say 27-year-old Daljinder Singh Sandhu is charged with failing to stop at an accident causing death, and eight counts of failing to stop at an accident causing bodily harm.

11-year-old Laszlo Balog was killed on July 17th, when the van he and his family were in was hit from behind by a white transport truck and was sent flying into the ditch where the car rolled over. Eight other people were injured.

Sandu turned himself in to Burlington OPP yesterday and appeared in bail court this morning. Police are continueing their investigation.
