Carney in Paris Tuesday for Ukraine-Russia peace talks

Prime Minister Mark Carney is in Paris, France on Tuesday for a meeting with world leaders looking to create lasting peace in Ukraine.

Carney met with French President Emanuel Macron for breakfast Tuesday morning ahead of the larger meeting.

Twenty-seven world leaders and negotiators will meet the pair, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and senior U.S negotiators.

The goal is to end the nearly four-year long conflict through a clear commitment that all leaders can easily back.
