Carney backs Greenland sovereignty, points to NATO for Arctic security

Prime Minister Mark Carney says Greenland’s sovereignty and future belongs to it’s citizens.

The comments come as the White House continues to double down on it’s desire to claim the territory.

Carney says if the Arctic region needs protection, the NATO alliance can provide it.
