Two Italians and a Canadian who were kidnapped and held hostage in Libya have been freed
A Canadian man and two Italians who were kidnapped have been rescued by Italy’s foreign ministry.
All three men were held hostage by armed men in southern Libya for nearly two months.
Frank Poccia, a Canadian citizen of Italian origin was flown overnight to Italy, Friday, along with the two other Italians.
Italian media report the men will speak with prosecutors before they are reunited with their families.
