Canadian travel to the United States is down for the 14th consecutive month, according to Statistics Canada.
Data from Stat Can indicates that the number of Canadian-resident return trips from the United States was down by 12.5 per cent in February when compared to the previous year.
Meanwhile, the number of trips by U.S. residents to Canada is up by nearly six per cent.
Overall, the data shows that Canadians are leaving the country less, with trips abroad down 5.5 per cent compared to February last year.
The agency says that when residents do travel, they are choosing overseas destinations, with those return trips up by 6.9 per cent.
