Canadian Home in Hospital

A 24 year old Toronto woman is back in Canada nearly 2 weeks after she fell off a catamaran while vacationing in Croatia. Anna Leibenko was with friends on August 17th when she reportedly fell 3 metres from a catamaran, hit her head on a ledge and plunged into the ocean. Leibenko was airlifted to a hospital in Croatia. She has been on life support ever since and is now at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Leibenko did not have travel insurance, so a web site was created to help pay for her medical expenses. As of this morning, the site has raised $140,000.
