Canada-U.S. border closure to be extended again

The Canada-U.S. border will remain virtually closed well into December.

A federal source tells The Canadian Press the current restrictions, due to expire Friday, will be extended.

Unnecessary border crossings were restricted in March because of the pandemic.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said the border will remain restricted as long as COVID-19 is rampant in the U.S.
