Canada marks a grim anniversary

Canada is marking a grim anniversary today. This week last year two Canadian soldiers were killed in separate attacks. The first happened in Quebec near a Canadian forces base, and the second happened on the steps of our National War Memorial.
That attack left Corporal Nathan Cirillo dead. And while it left the country in shock, it also had a huge impact on Cirillo’s hometown of Hamilton. Events were held to honour Nathan Cirillo over the last two days in Hamilton. And today, a national event was held at the War Memorial, to remember both soldiers.
