Canada looks to Europe as uncertainty surrounds Trump’s threats

Along the Canada-U.S. border today, nobody expected Trump to act on any of his threats.

However, there is a suggestion that Canada might need to turn to Europe for support if any conflict arises.

No one thinks any of the things Trump has mentioned will actually materialize, but there’s always uncertainty.

The mayor of Niagara Falls says people shouldn’t overreact to Trump’s statements, but suggests Canada should sit down to talk with Trump about a possible new, economic co-operation.
