Two deaths in the Niagara Region have been linked to the C-difficile outbreak in Ontario.
The Niagara Health System Niagara Health System says one patient at Niagara General Hospital with multiple health issue died Monday.
This follows the death of an elderly patient on Saturday at the Welland General Hospital.
There have now been 25 deaths connected to the outbreak since late May.
The Niagara Region currently has 47 confirmed cases of C-difficile being treated in hospital.
19 of those cases are at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
