The Argyle Street Bridge in Caledonia will be temporarily closed for three days this week for annual provincial inspections.

A spokesperson for Haldimand County says the Ministry of Transportation will inspect the bridge Wednesday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The bridge will be closed to vehicles during these hours while the west sidewalk will remain open to pedestrians.

Haldimand County says that emergency access will not be interrupted during the closure.

Drivers in the area are urged to plan ahead and find alternate routes.
