(Updated video) All four people on board an Ornge air ambulance helicopter were killed in a crash this morning in northern Ontario.

The helicopter was carrying two pilots and two paramedics, but no patients, when it went down near Moosonee. Contact with the helicopter was lost shortly after takeoff around midnight.

The victims have been identified as captain Don Filliter of Skead, Ontario; first officer Jacques Dupuy of Otterburn Park, Quebec; and primary care flight paramedics Dustin Dagenais, of Moose Factory, Ontario, and Chris Snowball of Burlington.

The helicopter was identified as a Sikorsky S76, built in 1980.

Ontario premier Kathleen Wynne and opposition leader Tim Hudak have both offered their condolences.
