Burlington boy buys poppies for entire school

With Remembrance Day being just a few days away, a 10 year old boy from Burlington wanted to make sure everyone at his school could show their support.
Justin Carter saved enough money from his paper route to buy 283 poppies for his entire school, Ascension Catholic Elementary. He says he didn’t want anyone to feel left out on Remembrance Day.
“A lot of people in in the school probably have grandparents that were in the war so I think everybody has an affection of what happened to Cpl Cirillo.”
As for his mother Kristine: “I’m just very proud of him for the thought that he put into this, and saving his money to support the idea.”
His mom says he’s grown up in the military world and he was affected by what happened to Cpl Nathan Cirillo.
