Brantford police seek assistance identifying robbery suspect
Authorities are turning to the public for help in identifying a suspect from a recent robbery at a store in Brantford.
Officers were called out to an armed robbery at a local shop near near Colborne Street West by Oak Street, Thursday.
Investigators say a masked man entered the business around 6 a.m. that morning, threatened an employee with a knife and demanded cash.
The masked man made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Authorities responded shortly after the incident had occurred and employed the use of a police dog to search the area, but came up empty-handed.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 30s who was wearing a black hoody, blue pants, black gloves with grey stripes and a black mask over his face.
