Brantford police searching for man after armed robbery at jewelry store

Brantford police are searching for a man after an armed jewelry store robbery at Lynden Park Mall last Friday.

At approximately 9:25 a.m., a man wearing a face covering entered a jewelry store in the mall and displayed a firearm. He then stole a large quantity of jewelry and cash before fleeing the store.

Officers say two employees were in the store at the time of the incident. No physical injuries have been reported.

Investigators describe the man as wearing a black hooded jacket, sunglasses, a face covering, black gloves, dark pants and dark running shoes.
