Brantford police make arrest following deadly shooting on Gladstone Avenue

An arrest has been made following a deadly shooting in Brantford Sunday night in the area of Erie and Gladstone Avenues.

It happened outside of a convenience store on Gladstone Avenue at around 8 p.m.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and no one else has been reported injured.

Brantford police announced Monday morning that they had made an arrest, but did not release any details surrounding the investigation just yet.

Officers say they believe the shooting is an isolated incident, with no ongoing threat to the public.
