Brantford Police continue to investigate after man struck and killed by train

Brantford Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a train over the weekend.

Police were called to CN tracks on Usher St. in Brantford around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday for reports that someone had been struck by a train.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the man but say they will not be releasing his name out of respect for the family.

Officers are looking to speak to anyone who has information or may have been near the tracks between 11 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
