Brantford man charged after OPP seize $48K in illegal drugs

A Brantford man is facing a slew of charges after the Ontario Provincial Police seized nearly $48,000 in illegal drugs.
OPP partnered with multiple police units in October to investigate drug trafficking in Brantford.
“With the evolving crime in Brantford, our involvement in the Guns and Gangs JFO is significant for our community,” said Brantford Police Chief Rob Davis.
“The impact of these complex investigations is extremely positive for the City of Brantford as well as the surrounding communities.”

On Wednesday, officers executed five search warrants in the city, where they confiscated suspected fentanyl and cocaine, as well as hydromorphone and oxycodone pills.
Investigators also seized nearly $3,000 in cash.
Justin Korganowski-Cromewell, 27, has been charged with five different offences, including four drug-related charges.
The accused is scheduled for a bail hearing in a Brantford courthouse on Nov. 28.
