Brantford man arrested and charged with 46 counts of Voyeurism

On April 7, 2016 as a result of an ongoing investigation a 44 year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with 46 counts of voyeurism, one count of making child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.

History of Investigation:
On November 16, 2015 the Brantford Police Service conducted an investigation in regards to a report of voyeurism. The investigation revealed that the victim contacted the Brantford Police Service after locating images of her and two other women taking a shower in a bathroom of a private residence. The victims were known to the accused. At this time the accused was arrested for three counts of voyeurism. During the arrest, several electronic devices were seized.

The electronics were forensically examined by a specially trained member of the Brantford Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE). Additional images of the victims were found on the electronic devices. The images were found to have been taken between 2011 and 2013. The age of one the victims is believed to be between 15 and 17 years when the images were taken. At the time of the alleged offence, two of the victims were living with the accused. The third victim was a friend of the other two victims.
