Brantford man, 46, charged after a person was struck by vehicle

Brantford police have charged a 46-year-old man after a construction vehicle struck a pedestrian.

Officers say the collision happened just after noon on Jan. 6 in the area of Grey and Stewart streets.

Upon arrival, the 33-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Police charged the driver from Brantford with dangerous operation causing bodily harm contrary to the criminal code.

According to a police report, the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was co-operating with police.
