Brantford Airshow originally set for June cancelled

An airshow planned at the Brantford Airport to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum has been cancelled.

Airshow50 was to be held June 25 and 26.

The Warplane Heritage Museum cited the sixth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ontario and the uncertainty of future restriction as the reason for the cancellation.

Instead, a small event is planned for those same days at the museum.

The show was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 because of pandemic restrictions.
