Boy hit & killed by car

A four-year old boy is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Mississauga this morning.

Peel police say he was hit near Artesian and South Hampton Drive in the Winston Churchill/403 area. He was reportedly walking to school with a parent when he was hit.

The Artesian and South Hampton intersection is closed while officers investigate. Police say the driver stayed at the scene, but there’s no word yet on any charges.
