Body found in Burlington linked to missing man

The coroners office has identified a body found in Burlington earlier in the week to be a man who went missing in July.

24-year-old David Thompson’s family called police on August 13th, that was a couple of weeks after he vanished.

Halton police said that foul play is not suspected.

Thompson’s body was found in a heavily wooded area northeast of Appleby Line and Upper Middle Road, not far from where he lived.
