Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. wins historic All-Star Game MVP award

Toronto Blue Jays’ star first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. pulled out a historic win at the 2021 All-Star Game Tuesday night.
Guerrero became the youngest All-Star Game MVP after driving in a pair of runs in the American League’s 5-2 win.
The 22-year-old crushed a slider in the third inning that almost cleared the left-field bleachers.
When Guerrero was presented with the Ted Williams All-Star Game MVP award, he said in Spanish, “Dad, this is for you.”
Guerrero is a second-generation all-star. His father, Vladimir Guerrero Sr. homered off Brad Penny in the 2006 All-Star Game.
