Black heritage and music on display at Hamilton City Hall
Black History Month continued with a celebration at Hamilton City Hall today.
The event was put on by Hamilton’s Advisory Committee against Racism and featured live entertainment, a variety of exhibits, art, and educational workshops for all age groups. The day payed tribute to African history, heritage and culture in Canada and around the world.
Black History Month is celebrated in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom every February. It was officially recognized in this country back in 1995.
