Police are investigating after a pair of off-road vehicles caused significant damage to the grounds at two Niagara Falls parks over the weekend.
Investigators say two grass fields in the area of Sodom Rd. and Mann St. were damaged on Oct. 31.
The city of Niagara Falls said on Monday parks staff discovered the grounds at a baseball diamond at Patrick Cummings Memorial Sports Complex had been destroyed.
The city says damage to the sod, clay diamond and irrigation system is being investigated.
Police estimate the damages to be in excess of $10,000.
Investigators have released images of a green ATV and a white and green dirt bike on one of the open fields.
The ATV rider was wearing a white helmet with a red stripe and black clothing.
The dirt bike operator was wearing a red and yellow helmet, a red and white jacket with black pants with a stripe down the side.
