Assault at Hamilton bar

Two men were punched in the face at a bar in downtown Hamilton early Friday morning.

The suspects drove off in a pickup that was later located by Hamilton police.

Police say one man ran out of the truck, throwing away a number of items from his pockets, which turned out to be drugs and cell phones.

27 year old Juan Beattie has been charged with a number of drug offences.

Police are looking for the second suspect driving the truck.

He’s white, in his mid 30’s, 5′ 10″ with a muscular build.

He’s bald or has very short blonde hair.

He has tattoos on both forearms and an earring in his right ear.

He was wearing a grey v-neck shirt and a dark jacket.
