Arrests in Hamilton man’s murder in Mexico

Police in Mexico have arrested three teenagers for the murder of a former Hamilton businessman, who was killed in Mexico.

A friend of Ron Burridge tells CHCH News that Burridge was stabbed to death in Acapulco, where he had lived for the last three years. The CBC is reporting that a 16 year old, a 17 year old, and a teen under 16 are in custody. A fourth suspect died after jumping off a roof to escape police.

Police say all four suspects knew Burridge, and had access to his apartment in Acapulco. Burridge owned the “Hotel Hamilton” on James Street North.
