Arkells play intimate, surprise gig in Hamilton for loyal fans

There’s been a lot of buzz about the big Arkells rally that’s going to take place later this summer but to celebrate their return, the hometown heroes are putting on a smaller, sold-out show tonight.

It’s been over a decade since they’ve played a venue this small, and the only way in, was to prove you’re a loyal fan, and register for the pre-sale to their big rally at Tim Hortons field, later this summer.

CHCH’s Roger Collins sat down with Max and Mike from the band on Thursday, who said the night is going to be a retrospective journey not just for those who are coming out, but for them as well.
