Another Legionnaires’ Death

Another person has died of Legionnaires’ disease in Quebec City. That brings the total number of fatalities since the outbreak began in mid July to 11. Public health officials have now confirmed 169 cases in all, which is four more than yesterday. However, officials say the outbreak is now under control. The source of the deadly bacteria is believed to be the cooling systems of two building towers, where it can grow in stagnant water.
