Ancaster’s Anya in Philly for treatment

Anya Martinez, the 6 year old Ancaster girl battling cancer, has arrived in Philadelphia to continue her treatment.
She tweeted this photo. She wrote, “in Philly now at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) & started prep for the t-cell infusion on the 12th. Long day of chemo now resting for day two.”
Anya is having t-cells manufactured ahead of the procedure next week.
Four years ago, Anya was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer that attacks the blood and bone marrow. She’s had chemotherapy, full body radiation and a bone marrow transplant.
