All QEW Niagara-bound lanes to close on Burlington Skyway Wednesday night

All Niagara-bound lanes on the QEW approaching and on the Burlington Bay Skyway Bridge will be closed Wednesday from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday weather permitting.

This includes the ramp from Niagara-bound Eastport Drive collector to the Skyway bridge.

The Ministry of Transportation says this will wrap construction on the bridge for this season, as crews restore the bridge to its original alignment and pavement parkings over a 2 km stretch.

Advance signing and notification will be provided to drivers so that they can plan an alternative route.

Niagara-bound Eastport Drive collector lanes and mainline will stay open as an alternate route, letting motorists rejoin the QEW Niagara-bound.

All ramps at North Shore Boulevard will remain open.
