VIDEO: Sunday night’s Actor Awards, the newly rebranded ceremony formerly known as the SAG Awards, delivered some surprises and major momentum shifts ahead of Hollywood’s biggest night, the Oscars. “One Battle After Another” has dominated much of this year’s awards season but “Sinners” is gaining more traction, setting up a potential nail-biting finale at the Academy Awards. The Actor Awards are one of the most closely-watched Oscars precursors and it’s a unique event where actors vote for actors. Sunday night’s ceremony also handed out the coveted lifetime achievement award and gave an important posthumous honour.
