A wish fulfilled for parents of terminally ill child

The parents of a terminally ill boy in Hamilton have had a family wish come true.

A few weeks back, CHCH News told you the story of the boy’s parents, April and Omre Taha. They were hoping to bring Omre’s mother from Israel to meet her grandson Gibriel – for the first and last time. Their family started a crowdfunding page to help cover expenses for the trip.

CHCH News has learned that their effort was successful.

Omre’s mother has arrived in Toronto and some time later this week, hospital staff at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Childrens will remove the breathing tube from 11 month old Gibriel.
