A family has been shattered by an unimaginable tragedy. In an instant, the Neville-lLake family of Brampton lost all three of their children and their Grandfather. Now a 29 year old man is in custody facing numerous drunk driving charges.

Jennifer Neville-Lake and her husband were just on a night out and had their kids spend the sunday afternoon with their grandparents, little did they know that would be the last time they’d hold their children. At the corner of Kirby Road and Kipling Avenue in Kleinburg a memorial grows for a family that has lost everything. Authorities say that around 4pm sunday, an SUV t-boned a van carrying six people. 65 year old Gary Neville and his 9 year old grandson Daniel Neville-Lake died. Danielès 5 year old younger brother Harrison and 2 year old sister Milly later died in hospital. The children’s grandmother and great grandmother are expected to survive.
Jennifer Neville-Lake, who lost all three of her children and her father took to facebook to address her loss.”Thank you everyone. Your kind words and messages mean so much to my husband and as we sit in our sons empty room surrounded by our children’s things. As you know all of my children have gone home to god with my Dad. My mother and Grandmother are in still in the hospital. Today we hope to see our big one as we were unable to see him last night. Please keep us in your prayers. God Bless.”

At St. Joakim School, students returned to the Canadian flag flying at half staff. Daniel Nevillle-Lake and his brother Harrison attended St. Joakim School in Brampton. Grief councillors have been here all day, students will take home papers explaining the story to their parents, the school will also host two separate services for the two boys.

29 year old Marco Muzzo, who hails from one of Canada’s wealthiest families, is facing 18 charges including four counts of impaired driving causing death, driving over 80 cause death, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death. He made an appearance at a Newmarket courthouse today and will remain in custody until his bail hearing on Friday.
