99 Homes is a dramatic thriller written and directed by Ramin Bahrani (At Any Price). It premiered at the Venice International Film Festival last year in competition for the Golden Lion. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Michael Shannon, Laura Dern, and Noah Lomax.

In this timely thriller, when single father Dennis Nash (Golden Globe nominee Andrew Garfield) is evicted from his home, his only chance to win it back is to go to work for Rick Carver (Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon), the charismatic and ruthless businessman who evicted him in the first place. It’s a deal-with-the-devil that provides security for his family; but as Nash falls deeper into Carver’s web, he finds his situation grows more brutal and dangerous than he ever imagined.

“This film is exciting because the audience gets put right into the middle of a tense and moving human conflict,” says director Bahrani. “It’s a story about how far a man is prepared to go to protect his family, the things he will do to provide a real home, and it’s all wrapped up in a thriller. The conflict and the energy between Michael and Andrew created sparks and their interactions were exhilarating to watch.”
