$35K worth of tools, equipment stolen from Norfolk business

Ontario Provincial Police are looking to identify the suspect responsible for the theft of $35,000 worth of tools and equipment from a business in Norfolk County last Thursday.

Officers responded to the business located on Highway 3 in Windham for reports of a theft.

It was determined by investigators that an unidentified suspect stole the items that were being stored in a sea container and a vehicle on the property.

Among the items were a pair of Honda generators, a DeWalt skill saw, a DeWalt bag containing power tools, a 14″ Stihl concrete saw, a Topcon dual slope laser, a pair of Spectra 2 slope lasers, and various other tools and equipment.

Police say several of the stolen items bear a distinctive “CDN Concrete” engraving.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a jacket, pants, boots, gloves and a face covering. Investigators have not released a further suspect description.

The investigation remains active and ongoing as OPP ask for the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible.
