30 firefighters battle Burlington office fire, $1.5M in damages

The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating after a fire at a Burlington office caused $1.5 million in damages.

Fire crews said it happened shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday night at an empty commercial building on South Service Rd.

Thirty firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the building and later discovered the blaze started on the third floor.

The Burlington Fire Department said no one was injured and the cause is unknown at this time.
