3 charged in Delawana shooting

Three men are in custody following a shooting in Hamilton’s east end Wednesday afternoon.

Hamilton Police were called to Delawana Dr E of Centennial Parkway around 1:30 after reports of gunfire. Police say a fight broke out between four men, and that’s when it escalated.

The men resorted to using weapons, one of them a firearm. At least two vehicles have been seized, one of them with at least one bullet hole in it.

Three Hamilton men are facing a number of charges:

• Vira Danh, 23, possession of a dangerous weapon & mischief under $5,000
• Vi Rith Danh, 22, possession of a dangerous weapon & mischief under $5,000
• Ayman Adulreheem, 19, possession of a dangerous weapon, breach of recognizance and breach of probation.
