3 arrested after $44,000 worth of drugs uncovered in St. Catharines
Niagara police have arrested three people after a search warrant was carried out on Tuesday in St. Catharines and over $44,000 worth of illicit drugs were uncovered.
Officers executed a search warrant on Tuesday at an address in St. Catharines on Ontario St. near Beech St.
A total of $44,600 worth of illicit drugs were seized, including 210 grams of suspected fentanyl and 26 grams of suspected cocaine.

Detectives also recovered about $3,000 believed to have been acquired through the proceeds of crime, and arrested three people.
Marcus Makhurane-Chafudzika, 33, of Richmond Hill is charged with the possession of fentanyl as well as cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000.

Both Peter Langridge, 38, and Lee lan Walters, 48, of of St. Catharines are charged with the possession of fentanyl and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
