SAG Award Nominations (Updated)

The nominations for The 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have been released with Birdman and Boyhood leading the pack with 3 nominations a piece. Not a surprise as both films have been making their way around the festival circuit while creating tons of Oscar buzz in the process. This year’s critically acclaimed feature-length dramas The Imitation Game, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and The Theory of Everything will also vie for the award for Outstanding Cast In A Motion Picture on January 25th.

The SAG Awards usually offer a tell-tale sign of who will be honoured at the Academy Awards. If this year’s list is any indicator, then the Martin Luther King Jr. historical drama Selma will likely take a back seat as it was one of – if not the biggest – snubs this year.
